Lots of people ask me why I like math: it seems to be the subject that everyone talks trash about at some point in their childhood. But think about this...

Right now you're sitting at your computer or phone or other technological doodad on a rock that's hurdling at about a hundred gajillion smoots per hour through a never ending expanse of nothingness. No human being is exactly positive what the hell else could be out there. In fact, no human being is really sure of anything. Our futile existence is changing constantly. The only three things we can be positive about are...

1. We'll all die eventually.
2. Shit will be constantly changing, whether we like it or not.
3. Math.

Now, if you had to pick one of the things on that list that is slightly less blunt and depressing than the rest, which would you pick? If you said anything but math, you're lying.

Anywayz, math just makes sense. If you put in an x, you're going to get a y. The sine of an angle in a right triangle is always going to equal the length of the opposite divided by the length of the hypotenuse. Pi is always going to be 3.1415 etc. It just works! And it always will! That's the glory of math... And julimagination.
