Alright. Let's bring on the weekend. If you're looking for some good music to chill to, search no farther. Let's see who made the charts this weekend.
{10}
"El Scorcho" by Weezer. This one's a classic. It's that kind of song you just can't not get up and dance to.
{9}
"Foundations" by Kate Nash. Yeah, I'm feeling rebellious. I've been singing this song all week long. I feel compelled to warn you though, since my audience is probably mainly a bunch of little twelve-year-olds, that there's some crude language in it.
{8}
"Hang On" by Weezer. To add an awesome new Weezer song into the mix with an awesome vintage Weezer song.
{7}
"Simple Girl by Dale Earnhardt Jr. Jr." No, that's not a typo: there are two juniors. It's a very simplistic song as the name implies, but it has depth in its own special kind of way.
{6}
"Something Beautiful" by Needtobreathe. I'm learning to play this on the guitar. Love it.
{5}
"Dog Days are Over" by Florence and the Machine. This has the most plays of anything in my iTunes.
{4}
"Everywhere", originally by Fleetwood Mac, with a great cover by Vampire Weekend. I'm kind of biased against covers of songs that were really good to begin with, but this one is an exceptional exception.
{3}
"Horchata" by Vampire Weekend. It has an interesting beat to it, and it transitions nicely from Everywhere.
{2}
"You and I" by Ingrid Michaelson. It's catchy. It's cute. It's clever. It's original. It's simple. It's at number two.

Okay, so as I've mentioned before, I adore Michael Cera. Is this an unhealthy obsession? Probably. Is that a bad thing? Maybe. Am I going to stop? Nope. So in the spirit of Valentine's Day, his very cute song is number one on this week's playlist. It's called "Can I Call You Mine?" and it's by The Long Goodbye (Clark Duke, Chris What's-His-Face, and Michael Cera).
Have fun with these songs. Dance around. Look like a fool. Have some julimagination.
