We've all been waiting ALL WEEK for another *puts on talk show announcer voice* Wednesday Word of the week.

That's right, everybody. This week's word is smoot. Smoots are a totally legit unit of measurement in my book. In fact, I'd like to measure everything in smoots from now on. To learn more about smoots, click here.

Also, the saga of the obnoxious line running down my monitor continues. There was a purple line. Then it disappeared. Then a yellow one appeared. And NOW, there is a purple line running down my screen, and slightly to its left is a yellow line. Yeah, that's right. This thing's got attitude. It came back, and it brought a buddy.

On the bright side, the lines are about 0.126865672 smoots long. And if you have some julimagination and put it that way, it doesn't seem too significant.
